Jacob's New Job

This week Jacob started his new job as floor supervisor at the Shoe Carnival. He seems to like it a lot and is learning a lot of fun things about shoes that neither of us would have ever guessed. We are so grateful he got the job and would like to thank all of you for your prayers and support!

Yellowstone's Sad Ending

Hey all,
So we are getting tired of telling our story to everyone in person, so here's the story:
There was one supervisor at the store who was actually directly over Marilee that hated us. No one in the store knew or knows why, just everyone was well acquainted with the fact that he did not like us. Unfortunately because he was a supervisor he had a lot more trust from the store manager than we did. All summer long he had been telling our store manager that we were up to no good, and making up stories about things that "we did" that neither of us had any idea about.We were constantly getting called in and "coached" on things that we should not continue to do (when we hadn't done anything of the sort). So recently it boiled down to, we had one more "strike" before we got fired, and quite frankly we would rather leave on "good terms" of quitting, rather than being fired for something that we never actually did.
